Alarm annoying the hell after me when I lock it.

My Dad has bought a Dci to use as workhorse and it's got an alarm on it. Well basiclly everytime you lock the car you get a continuous look beep that just doesn't go away, any ideas? I've done a search but no luck.

Make sure the bonnet, boot and all doors are shut properly.

Means it thinks there's a door/the bonnet/the boot still open. If they're all shut tight one of the sensors is probably fecked.

Happend to my sport when i first bought it.

It ended up the switch under the bonnet had come out of place and was not making contact thus the continuous beep.

Just ended up glueing it in place.
