That loaded for me like I had a dial up connection.
s**t internet ruins BF4 for me too. Got stuck in a staircase yesterday haha.

Just had a look at my stats - skill has plummeted from 215 to 146 in a weekend.
It really was as bad as I thought haha.
Although got my highest ever score in a round this weekend - over 9000!

Anyone switched from the AK5C to AKU 12? (Carbines)
I'm up to about 240 at the moment - been using the suppressor on my carbine with engineer with epic results. Also been levelling up a shotgun a bit on Metro...quite hard going but fun when you get some kills! Been getting some epic kills with my RPG. Did a few wicked (and lucky!) ones parachuting down either shooting down as descending or one landing virtually on top of a tank, mining it, hopping off then RPGing the mines.

Oh - one question.
The SRAW Launcher in Engineer class. How do I use the fly by wire guidance? Wheneer I fire unless its locked via SOFLAM it just seems like a normal launcher?

Yeah but really hard to shoot at range. I was trying to hit tanks by G on Golmud Railway whilst defending C haha.
I've been using the rpg but thought I would give this one a go.
Theres also a non guided launcher that has a flatter trajectory and flies much faster - damage isnt quite as much.
It's all about C4 - Nothing more satisfying then planting 2 / 3 packs on a tank, running away undetected and blowing the sh*t out of it.
Also regarding skill - mine's shocking - 227 and score / min of 363
Anyone else unlocked a 200% XP boost yet? Got one the other day but can't bring myself to use it, lol :

Yeah when Im using the DMR in Recon its C4 all the way. Or in engineer put a couple of M26 Slams on it then shoot them with the Magnum .44
My skill has dropped I think because Im just having fun in different classes.
In BF3 I spent a total of 36 minutes in Recon, Engineer & Support combined. Assault 4eva.

TBH Im surprised I always come so high in the rankings with my terrible 0.6 K/D ratio. Im normally in the Top 5 but havent won yet!

I just go for the objective. Most times solo and then squad spawn on me.
Weapons are just self defence while I get there / capture.
Thats the fun for me. Often I go for the base closest their RU point just to s**t them up a bit. You dont hold onto it for long but they come to defend it hard hha.

yup I have and I do but it doesn't matter now. Players on all different platforms can be part of the same platoon. Although the only way to level up the platoon is if 4 members are playing on the same game. So basically need more people to join on both/all platforms so when everyone is playing it will be contributing.

If it's anything like BF3. You will need the DLC packs to be able to play on most servers.
If you're only going to play on your own you will probably survive without it though.
I would also consider just buying the packs separately. I bought premium for BF3 (played that game A LOT) and haven't played most of them. Think I played the first 3 and then stopped playing the game as much.
I picked BF4 and premium pack up for PC yesterday for £40 total which is decent! If anyone wants to play my origin Id is Jeff_simply. I have the bloke added on my steam who can source the codes if anyone wants a copy.

Yeah cheers mate - got 4 so far but only 3 on 360 so far - 1 of which seems to be a random person I don't know
also, just been on Battlenet and none of my stats are there...anyone else having this problem?? :S

Ive got the opposite problem!!
OK mate nice one - I had a letter published on Gamecentral last night and asked people to add me so hopefully have some new invites when I check later on, worked for me in the past for similar things.
You need to join us when we're on, you still playing alone?
I play with another CSer regularly but we could do with playing with more members to form a decent squad / platoon.
Not enjoying it atm though, can't kill a fuck1ng thing right now
