I didn't have much luck wih Noos he was very helpful giving me info about buying the brackets from him, but then soon as I paid I got no feedback or replys for ages to say he had recieved my payment or to say how long it would take for me to get the brackets, I did get a refund in the end but it took ages. I got some brackets made up at a local place that do the job but I'd like the ones used on the twingo or from the other French lad, think I'll give him a PM see where I get. I'm also using the scenic 300mm/24 brembo discs.

Even with 16" wheels the calipers are very close with the 300mm discs.

Im using the genuine Renault caliper bolts & some 12.9 Allen bolts to mount the brackets.

Where did you get your calipers refurbed? They look the dogs danglys.. How do people find the brake pedal is after fitting these? I heard a rumour about changing the master cylinder because the pedal would be too long to run a 1*2 master cylinder...

I had a PM from Noos yesterday, the company who were making the brackets stopped for a while and he was sorting stuff out. But they will be producing more and they will be available in the next couple of months..

I too had a PM from Noos saying that some parts will be going into production again. I personally think he is selling Seiz's parts with a mark up on them and don't think they ever stopped production.

I have only heard bad word's about Noos's communication but It might change now.


I have bought the the brackets to suit standard 280mm disks, with machining to the caliper mounting face they should fit under most 15" wheels and then a set of 197 braided or even standard front brake flexi's and you have a complete kit (everything to be confirmed.

Just for reference I payed 145 for my mounts and Noos is selling for 220 so he has a fair mark up on them.

If I was to put these into production it would take a while of R&D and I don't know if I could match that price by Seiz, I would just have to suck it & see really.

Seiz offers lots of different arrangement's from standard 280mm disk's will need caliper modified upto 320mm floating disks with ally bells.

I think a cheap arrangement as far as I can tell would be the scenic 300mm solid disk paired with the right caliper mount and you would have a top kit to fit under 16" wheels.

Anyway I will know more when I mock up mine.

300mm under 16"s, various mk2 scenic's use these which are a direct fit however there only 24mm thick not 27mm like the 225's

When I get my set fitted up and know more about the line ups etc, I would be tempted to produce a few sets of the 280mm kit i.e 15" wheels or larger if there was interest, maybe some 300mm mounts i.e 16" or larger depending on manufacture costs.

This is basically the kit I have, the caliper mounting face that touches the caliper carrier needs machining by a few mm to fit under most 15" wheels, as to how much im unsure yet but will know in the next week.

Brackets kit for set up keeping standard disk (280mm kit) (calliper will need to be modified) = 220 Pound
Option: brand new set of modified caliper (grey) = 470 Pound

Minimum offset is ET40
It will fit in some 15 inch Rims (400mm clearance on the inner wheel needed)

It comes with caliper mounting screws, I will provide Renault part number for bracket mounting screw ontu the hub

Had a little time to put my brake kit together with some spare wheels and hubs I had lying around. No disks were fitted so need to get them tested on the car.

Wheels- speedline 2118's in et 48.5 (cup racer fitment)

Caliper mounts- 280mm version ( mounts look ok, a little thin in places where the studs pass through for caliper, but I have been assured there safe after years of use on other cars)

Calipers- megane 225 calipers.

For people looking to fit 197/225 calipers under 2118's it is possible but you will need et38 wheels or spacers to suit your wheels and the caliper's will need machined by around 5mm on mounting face, its a really tight squeeze for these calepr's but look brilliant squeezed under 2118's.

I will be fitting to my car in the next few weeks and will know the exact amount of material that needs removed from where etc.

I've ordered the ap 300mm discs from the twingo r2 also managed to reserve some brackets from seiz, hopefully get them at the end of the month, if not I might just bite the bullet and get the r2 brackets too,

Looking forward to see this. Lets just hope the offset on Seiz adapters are the same as on the AP discs. I have been in contact with Seiz as well.
