your not welcome anyway :rasp:Gutted the afternoon session has gone mate.
Ah, shame.
You need to work them (get them hot), try to get the pedal position to vary with pressure (brake hard and soft when hot, see if the pedal always stops in the same place or squeezes down further if you press harder) - if you've got it sorted it won't (it should just hit resistance, then stop, you increase the pressure, you stop quicker but the pedal doesn't move).
Until you boil the fluid that is LOL (like I did at Bedford - got fresh fluid now though)
No mate, if you cut the airbag ecu loom out the light will go out. There are two wires joined together in it.burp, when you removed the passenger airbag did you use a resistor to stop the airbag light comming on?

Check my earlier posts, ive got different (non-airbag) dash top.
i will be very rarely be taking the bumper off, is it accessible from the rear like justin or is it a pain in the ass also like justin?
Could you not heli coil the thread ?
Having said that all you need to do is make up a thread reducer on a lathe.
Just a small collar , internal bore tapped to the omp size and the o/d would need to be threaded to the size of the renault tow eye using a dye.
