Thought this would be a nice little topic to keep topped for a while, stick down details of cars you have had for breakfast recently

This week I have been mostly eating a triumph Spitfire 2500 and a modded escort GTI (should have seen the look on his face!!) Dont drive the car much during the week so my next meal will probably be at the weekend

And got f**ked on Big time by a Lotus Carlton and Ferrari 360!!

Recent easy toasts:

Utterly toasted a modded white 205 cti with big bore etc. The distance between us was amusing. When i toast someone like that and can see theyre still trying ill just keep my foot planted and reach terminal-velocity creating an embarrasing gap between us both, not just stop after leaving a few car lengths as people tend to think theyd kept up etc. I like them to know how it really is! hehe. I turned off and waited before i did so, and he came past flashing his lights/fogs, i replied with the road-racers code of hazards and a lower-lights display.

Another embarrasingly easy toast was a VTR who was talegating me. I was smiling as i saw the national speed limit (the execution ground arena) sign approaching and torqued away in third gear from 40 - could have slotted into 2nd for the instant death, but wanted to draw this one out, slowly and painfully. Smaller and smaller the talegating offender became in my rear view mirror until a mere spec of silver hatch back could be observed.

A successful "execution".

Yep that was some race! . I find that the drift on the corners slowed me down abit but thats racing for you!. Ive got a new tyre (F1 Unipro) and a new set of matching race legs for the next race. Think I might have the chasiss lightened by K-Tec. .................LOL I think your roller skate needs the tracking checked because when you hammered it around the third lane in Waiterose (Cold food section) it squeeled like hell mate!

I had some stoopid moron in a max powered Ford Jelly Mould, doh sorry I mean a sierra think he could have a go at some traffic lights, two lanes merge to one and I wouldnt back down, tool....

For some reason I keep on getting Vectras thinking Im fair game, all the time, does anyone else have this problem?!?! they dont generally get away with it though I have to say.

Yeah need the tracking done! Also need a new Wheel Bearing!! Some ABEC 5s I think!!!

I was gaining on the corners only because I had more balance. I reckon a Turbo conversion mite be up next. Need to be carefull as you nearly knocked the granny down in the Wine aisle! Eyes on the road not the Alcohol!! HEHE I am swapping to a Aluminium chassis soon!

I used to get vectra divers up my arse all the time when I had my nova, dont know what it is about them, maybe it the reps killer instict they have to be faster than everyone else on the road!

3 yes, 3 BMW Ones (they aint MINIS!) on the same road. one of them stopped at the end and said "is that one of those 172 things?" I laughed and said " dont think so, more like 1.2 mate" he wasnt happy and drove off in a temper. How I laughed! Even on the strip the 1.6 One is only about 1 sec quicker than the Clio, weird eh? Handling wise I dunno if none of them can drive but they didnt seem to like corners as much as me!

Other kill was a Saxo VTR which I hammered in my Astra DIESEL! hehehe, how I laughed. Last time he will race a car uphill, how I love lots of torque. I think it was the 14 year old slappers in the back that must have slowed him down.

Recently got absolutely wasted by a Peugeot 205 badged as a 1.6, fecker has an Mi16 engine in with TBs, git! I have neevr been beaten so badly!

Errrr...everything? Driving around since I had the turbo done, nothing has ever overtaken me unless I felt like taking it easy. Cant remember any real super super fast cars going for a race unfortunately. Most recent ones, today and yesterday, a Celica GT Four, Jag XJ 12 and Audi TT twin-tailpipe. The problem is theyre not really races - they give it large at a roundabout or junction, I pull up alongside just to check theyre up for it, then I leave them behind in pretty short order!

Viv... it can be quite funny when you know someones eying up your car, you catch them pulling up the side of you looking over the curves of the car, then the look up and Ive caught two blokes go pale when they saw it was a woman driving... dunno why... and nobody seems keen to want to race me... they just let me go its no fun at all... especially when I lend my car to my boyfriend, he comes back and tells me about all the things that try to race him, its not fair at all.... pah!

172chick, I know what you mean, its even funnier when I let my younger (much, much, younger...13 years younger!) sister drive my 172. Shes 20 but looks about 15 and is very tiny, and gets miss- taken for my daughter all the time (cringe!)

The best thing was, when I went to test drive my car and we arrived in my hubbys ZS180 with HER driving, the dealers mouths were on the floor....they couldnt do enough for us HA!!! HA!!!!!

LOL yeah but Geordiepaul Im not the kind of VW/Audi nut who cares one way or the other about the factory mods on a TT. To me if its a slow one its got one tailpipe and if its quicker its got two. Must have been the quicker one cos of the way he was trying to keep up. The slow one would have looked like it was parked up.

dont know about anyone else with a 172 or cup but most people dont even seem to bother racing. When I had me nove it was a daily occurance but now its not as easy. Maybe they want to save themselves the embrarassment (and optimax)

I recently embaressed 2 girls in a Tigra at the lights, otherwise its the usual diet of Quicksilvers, Saxos etc etc, but I dont race many peopole that much.

Some people think that cos you got a small car its slow, strange really

I used to race everything that moved in my old 1.2

Now Ive grown up and have a bit more welly under my foot, I very rarely race anything. Im the kind that lets others lay down the gaundlet rather than provoking the race myself.

My best scalp (in terms of satisfaction) was a BMW 530i on the motorway about a year ago. Typical BMW driver story. Ive also had some fun with twin-tail TT boys on numerous occasions. With other hot hatches, I find most drivers just respectful...many times Ive had a 172/CTR/5 Turbo etc next to me at the lights and we just pull away slowly and acknowledge each other - people in the know dont usually race.

If people see the car from the front (bonnet bulge etc) they tend not to hassle me, but I often have sales reps and fat cats sat on my bumper, thinking theyre about to reel in an RT with a big exhaust.

I had a mercedes 195 2.0 today... that was fun, was like glue over about 30 miles... he kept flooring it but I was still behind, dont think he was too happy.

LOL Viv, its great getting your own back on the men that think women drive boring cars, most of them dont seem to have woken up to the fact that some of us can drive...

One thing I have noticed is that when I drive a proper fast car I tend to cruise around at about 55-60 cos I know I can drive fast if I want to. But, when driving the Clio I tend to be the same until a twisty road opens up infront of me. I just cant drive it slowly round bends cos its the only time it shows how quick it can go.

Mind you when Im driving my company car I do suffer from "wont let them past me" syndrome. I think its cos I dont care for the car and hate it, therefore I rag the nuts off it constantly.

One thing I dont agree with is when you get prats 2" off your arse in a residential area, kinda stupid imho.

Suppose its one good thing about living so near to some of the best country/hillside roads in the country. Believe me the Weardale valleys are superb for racing around.

On the way home from work i get to a set of lights with two lanes, one to go forward and one to turn right, though theres loads who cheat and go straight ahead on the right lane. You can see them rolling back and forward holding the clutch so they can get ahead of me but ive never ever been beaten! However the best car ive beaten is a Mondeo which kind of takes the shine off..

Just slaughtered a phase 3 golf GTI, wasnt even racing, out on a country road and I started to pull away, at the next junction hes drawing up to me really fast, so I pulled out of the junction and completely trashed him by about 10 car lengths up to 70 then I just eased off. He looked well pissed off and he had his bird in with him too lol

most recent was a focus(repwagon) ST170, hehe how he tried time and time again coming back for more, i destroyed him about four times, then as i slowed down to pull into maccys he came screaming up behind almost running into the back of me then swerved right into the outside lane almost running into the back of the car in that lane, t*sser. me and my mate looked at each other and decided he was a bit embarresed getting wasted by a clio in front of the two young bints he had in the car, LOL

Some lad up his Kevved up sh*tbox of an AX GT wanted some from the lights, be rude not to kane him!!

Lots of people never bother. Pulled up to the lights against a 172 and he had his window down and I did. Had a little chat then had a little blat. He obviously beat me then we had a play on the dual carriageway for a few miles round a few roundabouts. Both were heading to the same place, got out the car was an oldish block about 40ish said he had a Brand new Valver when they were out on K plate!!! Then went our seperate ways. Was good fun!!!! Not so much a race but rather a laid back ranting session!!!

Have upmost respect for the 172 though!! Nice handling and fast little b******s but still want a CTR or ITR!!!

LOL yeah nothing beats it when the drivers got his bird in the passenger seat and her two mates in the back and he gives it the big un at the lights. Then you totally destroy him off the line and flash your hazards!

Me agrees, blew away a lad with his gal in yesterday, he was driving a bottom of the range new dun up 106, i made an unbelivable gap after letting him pull ahead of the line jus to impress his bird for less than 2 secs, he was really tryng the poor lad & by the time i was in 3rd and put my hazards on, it was embarrashing for him. Fun for me!

I had a play with one of those X5 thingys he was trying to cut in on a bottleneck type road, so as soon as the straight came up i put the old foot down and left him for dust, i know these are not the sportscar of the century but he was up for it so i had to show him, also used the valvers nible handling to do a bit of weaving and he was just a figure in the background!

not really anything to boast about i know but latest victim was a 1.6 GTi(had badges colour coded) no way it was a 1.9 cos i left him for dead. then a 330Ci, didnt really beat him, nor him me. came off by-pass and turned right, as i was going round the round about he came caning it and had to brake cos i was already on the roundabout. its a bit twisty just after the roundabout so i caned it through with a couple of exhaust pops to see if he was game, pulled a huge gap then chilled out, a min later i see a 330 flying up my butt and overtaking me very dangerously so i gave chase, caught him coming up to another corner, all over his bum through 2nd and 3rd then he did another silly overtake and i thought i would leave him to it!
