Cheap power cap with display at Maplin

Anyone ever blew up a powercap ? hehe. Lots of fun. can be dangerous.

Im going for the option of a far bigger battery. Thus givin me no reason to bother with a powercap :)
 


Powercaps look good though in an install.

Oh, and I also heard things sound better with them, because they can supply power a lot quicker! Dunno if thats true tho. Probably not.
 


No better than having a good battery.

In theory its not really a good idea to run a powercap unless you have actually got a good battery, and if you have got a good battery their isnt really any need for one!
 


i bought one last week, its made a good improvement. i now have no dimming of the head lights when i turn the bass up. installation was a doddle, and because it has a digital display then it does the initial charging itself. the ground needs to go to the same as the amplifier ground, and it needs to be a good one! simple, and the cheapest around.
