My brother went down to some car show at dakota drag strip today, and whilst he was there he put his Punto GT on a rolling road and got 159.2bhp apparently.
He also said there was a 172 there that went on and got 162bhp. It had a "dodgy" backbox on apprently.
Was it one of those 'mobile' rolling roads like they've used on TG and the like? Because sometimes they don't even have fans at the front - that'll be where the power went heh. And if that's the case, by hell I bet the Punto got warm :s
I presume it was a mobile one yeah. And was surprised my bro put his car on there, but as it's meant to be 130bhp standard, and considering the mods so far have cost about £600, a 30bhp gain is amazing. Though how accurate they are I don't know.
I was going to go down but didn't wake up until 11.45 lol.

It was a lass in a black ph2 172. The car had an open IK and big bore exhaust. The dyno thing had a big fan blowing loads of air. The Clio made 162 horses and 145 torque. There was an RS Focus too, but the generator broke down before it could be measured.
