clio 197 exhaust clips

Not much of a fan tbh, just wondered who, if anyone on CS has added a new exhaust to their 197, and would be very happy if you would post a vid to show us the noise!

edit - actually, i don't mind it, i'm just used to my exhausts being out of sight now.

edit2 - that appears to be a miltek exhaust on investigation.

From my little knowledge of aerodynamics i understood the outer sides of the diffuser did the most, hence why Renault hid the exhausts.

To off at a tangent, how much of the 197's underneath is flat?

Same as a 172..... seen one at a dealer on the forecourt up some ramps. Imo its bollox...... 45kg of downforce?! The bumper would be ripped off!!! The diffuser is only clipped on too!. That said they do look cool, and add interest to the rear.

getting back to the rear diffuser, i have actually found small animals stuck to it due to the force of it after a long run.

being serious for a moment - well they are cheap new now anyway, circa 13.5k online, or 14.5k from a dealer i reckon. second hand should be around that price or lower. lot of car for not a lot of money imo.

(can we keep this thread about the 197 exhaust and not about how s**t people think the 197 is. there is a thread in clio discussion about that at present. (not aimed at you gt_gaz))

is that the standard exhaust? looks too shiny and with the kinda rolled lips thought it was a aftermarket one. tbh, i ain't really peered that close to mine though!
