Really like that mate. They look proper fresh in Silver and the right bits have been painted. :)

Are those aftermarket Monzas? Either way I love them. If you get the refurbed keep the diamond cut face and get them lacquered they look superb.

Wheels let it down big time, needs ed30 wheels!

It looks much better with xenons too.

Cheers, really happy with it!

Nope they are genuine bbs monzas :) I like them too, however judging by the comments they are a marmite wheel.

definitely not reps, unless someone has stamped the inside ;) I'd love some pescaras! hard to get hold of for the right price though

Get a revised 'G' diverter valve audi part number 06f145710G and hpfp cam before a map as the diverter valves split and they leak boost and also the hpfp cams wear and if they go wrong you will be looking at a new hpfp also induction exhaust and thats stage 2 sorted

  Alfa GT Cloverleaf
haha, lucky beggar!

I have been lucking into that DV+ as I'll be changing the diverter when I map. is the rev D a better option?

  A3 2.0TFSI QUATTRO
A oe spec rev G the D is a piston and only realy need for bigger power or higer boost niki at rtech did a test with them after people questioning them both

  Alfa GT Cloverleaf
So the Rev G is the one to go for? lol

do you mean replacing the cam follower? or am I getting mixed up?

  A3 2.0TFSI QUATTRO
Yeah cam follower and G is the one

Add the page vagtuning.net on facebook if you hunt back you will find it or just ask the question again lol

  Alfa GT Cloverleaf
yep I'm getting the cam follower done too, cheers for that, the rev d & rev g are much cheaper than the DV+ too. if I got the rev d which you say is for stage 2 + would it make a difference to mine, as in a negative? just thinking of the price is the same I could just get the stronger one?

The best car you could buy for the money. Absolutely love mine! Not sure about the Colour Coding/ Wheels on yours but tidy none-the-less! And the front bumper is colour coded, not ED30 (Im pretty sure anyway).

Get yourself an AutoTech intake, and do something with the exhaust. They sound awesome!

  A3 2.0TFSI QUATTRO
Rev G is the diaphram / membrane
Rev D is the piston and 2+ still isnt enough to use d over g
I think rev 'D'are standard on ko4's

Evmos , autotech , revo induction sound realy good but prices all over the place

Niki at rtech i developing one for the 2.0tfsi and realy good results get a ttrs engine cover too or trim the standard

sweet, I will get hold of a rev G then. cheers for all the advice!

Definitely the best car for the money I was trying to think of alternatives but kept coming back to the mk5. And I personally prefer the colour coding, no idea why vw didn't do that from factory, especially the rear bumper.

Managed to pick up some genuine bbs pescaras in mint condition for a decent price so just waiting to receive them.

Also got it booked in for some more goodies next week, so I will get some pics uploaded during the week!

Nice work. Is it a K03s on these as standard? What can you get out of them before going K04?

  Alfa GT Cloverleaf
cheers guys, will keep this thread updated as i progress! looking forward to getting everything fitted.

Yeah the k03s is standard, from what I've heard it's around 270 - 280 bhp

Had the GTI in at Tuning Developments over the weekend while I was over in the Emerald isle :)

Quite a bit of work done:
Front Mount Intercooler & Hard Pipework
Rev G Diverter Valve
Replaced Cam Follower
Replaced PVC Valve with the newest version
H&R Springs
Live Remap

Before the work the car made 163 BHP and 183 LBFT due to the boost leaks from the DV and the shitty intercooler pipes. Once the everything was fitted and the map was done it made 230 BHP and 300 LBFT. So quite a difference! Feels like a whole different car, There is power no matter what gear you are in and no matter where you are in the rev range. Money well spent im sure you will agree!

Next on the list is a RARB and Polybushes all round, And to of course get the Pescaras fitted :)

Nice work. Only 230bhp though? I'll be honest, I'd be a little disappointed. Nice torque figure though!

  Alfa GT Cloverleaf
Over the weekend I managed to paint my wheel hubs as they were looking a little worse for wear! I forgot to take some before and after shots (as usual) So just got one after the wheels were back on lol

Also tried to get a snap of my new intercooler. I think it sits well, hardly noticeable but can be spotted by the trained eye!

While the weather was nice yesterday I managed to give the GTI its first detail of my ownership which consisted of : Wash, Clay, Re-wash, Machine Polish with AF Tripple, Hand apply Poorboys White Diamond, Hand apply Poorboys Natty's Paste Wax. Silver is quite a hard colour to achieve some depth with but I think it came up really well!
The pics show it sitting on my new H&Rs I had fitted a few weeks back, I'm really happy with the height and the ride, personally I think the rise is better than standard.
Since I bought the car I have also fitted a Rev G DV, Replaced the PVC and cam follower, fitted a FMIC with hardpiping, replaced the cambelt & water pump and had it remapped. Before the work was done it made 163 bhp and 187 lbft and once everything was done it made 230 bhp and 300 lbft. so rather pleased with the results, the car drives 100X better and mpg has slightly increased!
