Daniels Blue 182.

You're very welcome mate. When purchasing i'd get them to double check they're sending you 60mm ones. Screw waiting a week for you to receive 54mm ones ;) haha And when you're choosing shipping location, if you spend less than 15 minutes looking for what England is classed as on their site you're doing better than me. @optical did you have that trouble too or is it just me that might be that stupid? hahah

@Apg100 no worries at all. You're very close to me btw! Where about in wakey are you from?

Flockton? Between Wakefield and Huddersfield. What about you?

Literally the last bolt to go in and AH WHAT THE f**k!! Top hole didn't line up, Had to take it all back off again and put the old stuff back on, only gave myself an hour to do the job!! [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]

Man i'd be pissed!

Car is currently at the garage having the clutch done :D Can't wait to see how it feels after, as the dragging of it has been so frustrating for the past 4 months or so.

They look brand new mate. Had a gander at them when I was trying to source a handling issue and the mounts themselves are that newish looking, clean metal colour and the surrounding bits were dirty so looks like they were replaced fairly recently.

Cool, I only did mine just for the hell of it while I had my engine out as I noticed a 2mm mark where it looked like the rack moved from side to side, couldn't see anything, I had to put my finger on it while someone worked the steering, probably was a bit anal!!

Well guys, I got the car back from the garage today after having the clutch done. Went for a Costa with a friend through the day. Fully recommend the orange hot chocolate, it was amazing!

Anyway I got in the car and...

I nearly put my foot through the bloody footwell. I couldn't actually believe it, it felt so light. I genuinely was concerned they hadn't done the job properly. I went for a drive back home and it feels amazing. So smooth and so effortless to press now, it engages so quickly. Can't get over how happy I am with it. I'm not the one to exaggerate over something so bleak as a clutch but it's improved the drive SO much :D Only cost me £175 in labour too in the end. £25 cheaper than I anticipated.

I got home and started fitting the 10mm stub axle spacers from Pure

It was very cold and I had to do the job quickly as I wanted to take the car back to the garage to tighten the hub nuts back up to 175nm as they have a torque wrench but here are a few before and after pics.

Fitting them was really easy. Simply undo the 2 x 17mm nuts holding the rear brake carrier to the hub, then undo the 30mm (I think) hub nut taking care not to lose the washer that is under the disc and taking note which way it goes on as it's very important!

Then this reveals the 4 torx bolts. I find it bizarre how 3 of them are the same and 1 is a smaller size. I thought someone had bodged it initially with wrong sized bolts!

Then slide the stub axle spacer in and fit the new bolts and nuts.

Now for some shocking before and after pics. HATE the dark. You can sort of see the difference. It is only 10mm though.

Tell me about it @MrTom !! Thanks though

Btw do you live near Hemsworth? GF has a football match there Sunday and might drop her off if you're around for a chat? I should probably watch her play, but in all honestly, I can't f**king stand football hahahaha

I did mine also when I recently had the clutch changed. There was the same amount of movement. I went for poly bushes ones.

@dann2707 Billies look good mate, as do the rear hub spacers. Get those front spacers one and all set up correctly and you'll have a perfect stanced oem+ Clio.

Today I ended up swapping the rear coilovers upside down as how they should be, also greasing the rears with copper grease as I did the fronts the other night.

I noticed when the car came back from the garage the other day or from when I raised the suspension for the garage, that it's making a twonging noise when turning the wheel much like the sound when my top mount bearing had fucked up on my last car. Is there anything I may have done incorrectly when raising the suspension or is it just supposed to twong?!

Sounds like a spring isn't seated correctly but i've doubled checked everything over and it's spot on! @incy-spider @optical

Lovely, that makes me feel better, thanks Tim.

Can't wait to finally get the spoiler fitted too! My mates spray compressor jacked in last week or I would have had it on today. Should be done by the start of next week.
