At least now it is in the very talented hands of Andy and you won't have it back until it is spot on!

Has the engine management now changed to Adaptronic BTW? Really impressed with how mine runs alongside the Renault ECU.

@Ade182 Yeh mate it's that company, have a big list off things that were done s**t. and a yes to the Adaptronic too can't wait to use cruise control Andy has committed a lot of time and hard work to making sure my car is how it should be, how he hasn't given up and sent it back I don't know but I know he's doing a sterling job and I owe him big time!

There's some shocking things

Clutch cable melted due to poor heat shielding!
No auxiliary belt idler and loose tensioner bolt.
Kinks in cooling pipes.
Valeo clutch when paid for an organic!!
182 box replaced with a 172 box with damaged casing.
Spring found in oil filter!
Crank seal covered in red s**t.
Block not tapped properly.
Rocker cover breather hole not blocked.

So many things!!

I know very hard to believe that this standard of work can be taken out in this day and age, but sadly it has!
I'm sure it was laughing followed by crying, maybe he will move on to German cars now 😂

Anyway some good news is new bits fitted:
Adaptronic 420D ECU
Adaptronic coil pack
Nimbus heat shield
Modified fuel pump with fuel return and regulator.
Replacement actuator
Full auxiliary belt kit
Boost pipe kit
Helix organic clutch
This one is my favourite....NO s**t WORK OR OIL LEAKS!!!! :smile:

Anyone have any ideas as to where I can fit an oil catch can? Have seen people fit next to coolant bottle but I have boost valve there.

Ordered a passenger arch liner with clips, battery cover, new wipers and a washer pump. will start to tart it up now I have all the niggles out of the way :smile:

Went for mapping again today after the adaptronic. Got 273bhp last time so only expected to squeeze a few more out maybe 285bhp. Anyway today went extremely well and can only thank both Andrew and Chris for their amazing work [emoji106] the new numbers are more than enough to put a smile on my face [emoji4] I'll let the graph do the talking.

I'm running the gt 2560(aka gt28r) not the rs disco potato, I'm running 279 bhp iirc, so I only need forge pistons and rods and I could run this power

Upgrades wise, fuel reg, fuel return, clioturbo boost pipes, adaptronic and switched to boost solenoid.

All the rest was fixing problems and adding what was left missing.
