Still dont know what we are going to do. Its like Jason(Us) and Golliarth(Renault).

If anyone wants to help and has the problem the first thing you should do is ring renault customer service on 0800 072 3372 tell them the fault (engine banging against subframe under hard acceleration and some cases coming out of gear) and get a reference number which you post on here.

I sold my MK2 172 last year but it had this problem. It was so bad once that it actually caused 2 cracks in the bottom of the plastic front bumper...
