fitting 225/230 18" alloys on 197's

i was looking through the 197 appreciation thread in the media section and on page 9 i think theirs a beautiful black 197 on 18" megane sport alloys. i was just wondering if any one could shed some light on these, do they fit straight on without rubbing when driving or would spacers, camber be required? how do they affect the handling?

any useful input is welcome.

One of the special edition 200's has 18" wheels so there shouldn't be a problem.

Sweet, that 197 is sooo nice would Defo put some on if some come up for the right price

I run 18s on my 200 its also dropped 30mm runs fine no problems at all

Is it going to have the same effect as fitting 17s to a 1*2?

I find with mine it grips alot better but it does follow tramlines in the road !

Yeah, my mate took them off as it spoiled the handling.
