forced air induction for the mk1 16v (prototype)

How this for a funny morning, after forgetting college is on half term i decived to pop down to www.sanspeed.co.uk, iwas looking at getting an induction kit for my valver . and then the bloke started to rave on about this induction kit there producing at the moment. so i said if you develop one from my car you can give me some money off, he replys nah you can keep it for free. Its basically an aluminium elbow connected to a carbon fibre box with a cone filter inside, should be made in about 6 weeks time. Ill post some pics when its made along with the rolling road print out, to compair the gains. ive got a good feeling about this one it might be better than the viper.

sounds quite a lot like the viper to me..... except for the aluminium elbow, which will get hot as its surrounded by a hot engine????

its more of an open air box with a cone filter in it. cant wait for it as it will be the first one ever made

Sounds like the best of both worlds (OE airbox and IK)

Will probably work well if you insulate the box and pipework from engine heat.

well looks like the exhaust is coming from 2modified thanks to john, he got me a brilliant price plus a few stickers, and the prima chip should arrive any time soon.

blueflame exhaust + de cat.
custon airfilter thing (month or so)
chip next week sometime.
