Ipod using wifi, is it free?

My brother has just got an ipod, obviously no sim goes in, ive conecte to the house wifi, i take it this is now free to browse whatever websited he wants on the ipod (probably p**n)
And i take it he can only download from the app store while hes at home/conected to a wifi somewere else?

Yes. Your own wifi is free.

He'll need to be connected to the wifi to do anything that requires an internet connection.

You might have to pay for the wifi at airports etc. But you'll never connect to it accidentally.
