M5 ready! Let the mods begin....

Well after some big service bills have been paid i can finally start the mods. Even though she is not a Evo i can't leave it alone

So pics will be update as she goes.

Just spent 2k on servicing, tyres, oil leaks (general where and tear), new hella lights, and maf sensors.

Will update with pics they are fitted than it's KW Coilovers, ARBs, APs all round, headers, than remap. Not much more than.

As she stands at the minute and will retain the stock look. Not even buying a private plate.

Yes £400 for the Gruppe M induction kit, covered 2k, £300 for the exhaust and covered 5k!

I bought two rubber seal strips (where the windows go up and down), cost me £200 lol ridiculous but that's what you got to expect.

My mate has a Lambo Murci and the clutch was £5k, yep £5,000.

Clutches on Ferrari's are around £3k mark. Services around £1,500 on average.

However, it's cheaper to change the belts on my Ferrari than it is my Clio!

Justin on here has a superb Lambo Gallardo.

Dont get me wrong if you buy a car with a new clutch then obviously you wont need to worry. Everything is plugged in and read on the software (Ferrari has SD1 / SD2).

My clutch was changed Aug 08 and is 17% worn (as of last month) so happy days there.

A PPI done is always a good move of course.

But keep your M5 as that is the nuts.

I recall watching "The Garage" on Sky and Jock was saying "Stuff your Ferrari's and get yourself a M5"

Got the exhaust fitted today and it sounds awesome! Not to loud in car but outside it's fooking loud.

Fitted than removed the Gruppe M induction kits as i was not happy with the heat soak effect. Might have to invest in the Dinan version which sits inside the wing.

Wheels also refurbed. Darker than wanted but still looks great in smoke chrome.

Will get some decent pics up at the weekend + a quick vid for some noise!

Not sure I would want a loud exhaust on it, but that's just personal taste!
