the badge it just says 'gravells' where i bought the car from

next plans are to remove that badge now ha

got a few things to go on, rear strut brace, omp tow eye, short s**t linkage (these any good?) and a powerflex dogmount

Mine was originally at Gravells in Kidwelly. I bought it off a guy in Gorseinon (sp?).

The Gravells badge is horrible mate, do what I did and hair-dryer it off.

Yeah mate up the road in Swansea and use a hairdryer to heat the glue up and glently slide a credit/debit card behind the badge.any remainig glue should wipe off with some Autoglym tar remover.

thought i'd post up some photo's of the wheel from start to beginning

when i first bought the car i decided orange wheels were what i wanted

due to being skint at saving at the same time i found some orange turinis on ebay 8 months later.

picked these up in june, lovely drive upto london to pick them up

as you can see they were kurbed, pretty pretty badly.


so i started stripping the original paint with nitromorse

even the mrs helped out!

after a week of trying i give up and started looking for easier ways of doing it. ended up filling a container with thinners and putting the wheel in and brushing the paint off, simple!

so we started off with a yellow basecoat, did consider keeping them this colour

and here's the final finish

well not much has changed since i last updated but i fitted the dog bone bushes the other day

oh and i bought these yesterday, track wheels! not sure what colour to go though?

still waiting to put the cup spoiler and omp toweye on, any idea's where to get paint from?

Cheers mate, do you mean the regular 172 bumpers or the 1.2 bumpers? Not 100% about the 1.2 but im sure people will shed some light on this
