I'm sure we got it sorted somehow, just can't remember how! I never found it a massively hard job mate. Give me a shout if you're still struggling soon
Used a high strenght bolt to mount it on the other side of the mounting point (if that makes sense!).

just read ur intresting tread, ur have a very nice cup there.

i myself own a very nice 172cup, and im also on a a stage where im not 100% happy with the looks, and want to lower it, which u think is best sportlines or apex.

i think im abit like u, if im not happy with sportlines ill end up changes few weeks down the line.

in wat terms wud u say the spotlines better. and how better do the apex look. wud u say its worth the loosing out on quick with a apex. any chance u can send pics with apex & sportline to my email as i cant tell the differance on ur tread. Aso is there a major differance in the drop.

I've had sportlines, prolines, apex. Apex are awful. End of. Far too harsh, feels like the dampers don't get chance to deal with bumps, car was undriveable over anything but smooth tarmac. Best thing about the cups is the handling, why ruin it for an extra 10mm drop?

I love this car, its so tasteful it still maintains most of its standard looks! If you want the coil-overs setting up id go to pro-tec in Freckleton. They know alot about motorsport and work with Alistar Mcrae

Baggers... of all places- Halfrauds!!! It was a multipack of grommets with about 6 in... 2 of which fit perfectly and was only a few quid :)

Thanks Michelle! I will get down there later and see what I can find... Much appreciated! :star:

Cheers matey! Seats are Momo RS2 GT seats. Everyone seems to say they look uncomfy, until they sit in them. Can't fault them

These seats are very underated, i had a set in the vee and were very, very good. Only sold them due to replacing them with Recaro Pole's.

I forgot about pro-tec in Freck... Thanks Rob..!

Think I'm taking it to Scooby Teknix in Fleetwood, who obviously aren't Reno specialists lol, but Parky off here knows the owner and the lads there are cracking :)

Thanks everyone! Can't wait to get the brakes and Coilovers on now- eeek!!!

Just thought I'd keep this running thread up to date. Gave it a proper wash/dry detail at weekend, my painted bullets (done by me) finally went on also. Coilovers, brakes and new Toyo T1 R's going on this Friday!

Ride height looks spot on mate. Where did you get the konigsports from and how much??

Ditz... LOL

Quade, they were from Rimstyle, cheap as chips ;) Go for your life! As far as 'budget' end coilovers go I think they are fantastic tbh!

Damn girl, marry me?

That car is HOT!!! Best cup I have seen, hands down!

What products are you using to clean it? List?

Also, I have the same coilovers but mine are seized up!!! I noticed you have two C Spanners, what sizes are they?

Again, GOOD JOB and keep it up, that car is MINT!

oh and... allow me to ask again, marry me?

:D

  EP3 Civic Type R
Loll, no to the marrying you I'm afraid.... I'm to young to settle down, I'm sure you understand :)

I'll check on the size of the C-spanners tomorrow matey... and products I'm using are Clay, Poorboy's shampoo, Natty's blue wax and plenty of elbow grease ;)

Defo- I want to see what those badges look like!

I wanted white, but I've had white wheels on the past 3 cars and fancy a change! I've got anthracite and silver bullets on now and the wheel diamonds have been done anthracite, so decided to leave wheels silver for a bit, until I save some more cash! :)

Looks very nice indeed! I think mine would be spot on with coilovers...whenever I take pics the ride hight always stands out a mile, even worse because there is nothing in it! :(

I'm only in Blackburn so might have to let you loose on mine! ;)

I go away for a bit and it turns into Jeremy Kyle lol!

Chris- if you're on about the cleanliness.. I learn't my tricks from Parky (on here), who also lives near me. What the man doesn't know about cleaning cars isn't worth knowing. If you fancy him having a go on yours sometime, PM me and I'll get you contact details

Progress is slow at the mo. Now the coilovers are on I've just enjoyed driving it tbh.

I've changed colour scheme again on badges. 2 much yellow and 2 much away from standard for my liking, so I've gone with graphite grey and silver bullets, with graphite grey wheel diamonds. Still different- but a bit more toned down

I also did my pikey mod for the weekend. As I'm sure everyone knows- Reno exhaust mounts = crap. Mine is pretty new and has already let the exhaust drop- so I've modified it. It looks pretty crap, but it does the job, the exhaust doesn't move an inch and it's really sturdy and it doesn't bloody rattle! YEY!

Also fitted my 3/4 numberplate on the front- it looked strange without it!

Next week- BIG clean, plus possible PC action if I'm lucky!

MoRpH3uS speak with Parky on here- what he doesn't know about detailing isn't worth knowing :)

Just thought I'd update some pictures. Since the last update myself and Parky have fitted a cold air feed into one of the fog light recesses, apart from that, winter progress has been slow but now the weather is coming right I'll be updating this page more and more!
