hasn’t that Monaco blue Turbo been sold a few times recently? Sure I have seen it before but for less money? Lovely car.
I’ve kept track of it, it’s sold 2/3 times in the 3 1/2 years since I originally sold it.hasn’t that Monaco blue Turbo been sold a few times recently? Sure I have seen it before but for less money? Lovely car.

Can’t you get 10mm hubcentric spacers from H&R?You won’t be able to run 10mm slip on spacers with the Turinis. 10mm on the hubs leaves only 4mm of the hub nose protruding for the centre of the wheel to locate on.
The Turinis have a 6mm chamfer on the rear which leaves you 2mm short. For this reason you should only run a maximum of a 5mm slip on on the front with a Turini, failing that, a 16mm is the next size up as these are hubcentric and have their own centring hub for the wheel centre to sit on.
Some idiots will tell you that you don’t need the wheel to locate in the centre and you just use the bolts/studs to centre the wheel but this is incredibly dangerous. The studs/nuts are not there to hold the wheel true, they are purely to stop it falling off.
The OEM cup hub nose protrudes 14mm so you physically can’t fit anything less than that in a hubcentric fitment. This is why most you see start at 16mm to allow some clearance. Can’t you get 10mm hubcentric spacers from H&R?

Is that different for non cup pack hubs? I may have to drop the front wheel and measure later.Hub nose and Turini chamfer View attachment 1582176View attachment 1582177
I don’t know for sure mate. I only have Cup hubs so can only go from what I’ve measured on my own car.Is that different for non cup pack hubs? I may have to drop the front wheel and measure later.
I would like some 2118’s but are they not about twice the weight of a 16” Turini?I don’t know for sure mate. I only have Cup hubs so can only go from what I’ve measured on my own car.
A lot of this is outlined on the PMS website too.
A Speedline 2118 for example had only a 2mm rear chamfer so can be run with a 10mm slip on spacer without issue.
Yes.I would like some 2118’s but are they not about twice the weight of a 16” Turini and f**k ugly?

edit: just seen one of your older posts a set of 16” Turini vs 15” 2118 with tyres is basically the same weight 🤔🤔
Looks like I’ll be running the 16mm until I get some 2118s then 😂I don’t know for sure mate. I only have Cup hubs so can only go from what I’ve measured on my own car.

You can run 5mm slip ons with a Turini too.Looks like I’ll be running the 16mm until I get some 2118s then 😂
Hardly worth it for a 5mm spacer, might as well not botherYou can run 5mm slip ons with a Turini too.

RCK?? I’m trying to achieve good handling whilst still looking decent. My coil overs are appalling so they’ll be changed out after the engine is done.Depends. I'm running RCK hubs which bring the front s out 5mm, so a further 5mm spacer makes 10mm overall and 20mm increase in front track. So yes its can be worth it. All depends on what you're looking to achieve.

Honestly the list is becoming endless of things I want to do the inferno… 🤦🏻♂️RCK (Roll Centre Kit)
I use the NorthloopCup (Bridgecraft Motorsport) hubs on my car which widens the front track by 5mm per side anyway. If you want good handling, id ditch the 16mm spacers for a start, my car drove awful on them.
Rome wasn't built in a day mate, concentrate on getting your engine sorted and you'll have plenty of time for the rest.Honestly the list is becoming endless of things I want to do the inferno… 🤦🏻♂️
Amen to that!! 😂Rome wasn't built in a day mate, concentrate on getting your engine sorted and you'll have plenty of time for the rest.
If his usual pattern is to reply within a set amount of time and then he suddenly stops doing that, then yes i'd say it's understandable to feel anxious. He's probably overloaded with work and hasn't got an update for you. Either that or he's buggered off to Ukraine in which case you're fooked 🤣.So 3 weeks home has passed and I'm back at work for 3 weeks again with the car still not having progressed any further.
I've not had any comm's from Alex since 22/2/22 even though I emailed him on 2/3/22 with no response and tried to call on 9/3/22 with the call going through to voice mail and myself requesting a response from him. I appreciate he is a busy guy with lots on but I must admit I'm getting a bit anxious. I've owned the car since 27/11/21 and have only got to drive it for the 3 weeks before the engine got hurt. I just want to drive it properly and enjoy it!
Am I wrong in this and just being paranoid or am I justified in my thoughts 🤷♂️
I was waiting for the stihl saw 😂😂.Added - i'd be thankful you get any comms at all. My car went in to a reputable garage for an engine rebuild in July last year, never heard a sausage for a month. Chased it up, got a reply that they've not even started it and they'd stuffed it outside to get even rustier.
Waited another 3 weeks, not a sausage, chased it up, not even started it due to no parts available. 3 more weeks still no update, chased it up and the bloke was too busy fighting the petrol tanker driver to come to the phone. 3 weeks later, not a sausage so final straw was to go in the trailer to collect it, car was still stuffed outside the garage getting soaking and the boot was full of engine parts. Kicked off bigstyle, bloke couldn't understand why i was getting so angry and frustrated. Came to an agreement i'd get the parts, send them to them, they complete the work within a couple of weeks. 1 month after that i got my car back.
Workmanship was awesome, car is unreal now, but comms none existent. At least they were consistent 🤣 I'd even go back now i know how they operate.
He’s just commented on something on FB mate, drop him a message if you are worried. So 3 weeks home has passed and I'm back at work for 3 weeks again with the car still not having progressed any further.

Honestly his communication is not great I can never get through on the phone and he tends to email back a week after I send him a message, he is working flat out I think as he has about a six week lead time to do any work. I would say he is honest so don’t be worried just keep being polite but persistent in comms. When I’m impatient or need an MOT I use renotec in Chelmsford which is the next closest specialist I believe but they are pricey. So 3 weeks home has passed and I'm back at work for 3 weeks again with the car still not having progressed any further.
