My New Steed: Trophy #321

I never know if the Mk2 Renault Sport shape has aged well or it's just that because most of them are enthusiast owned they are generally well kept/cared for!

I have that badge, 100x better.

Another option is the RS badge in place of the Clio badge like Jon.G's old one

Leaving the suspension as it is Gally or you thinking about up some uprated springs?

It runs Eibachs, after the Frp I couldn't live with the standard height. Especially with so many options. Different on the Frp. The way I drive the springs make zero difference to me.

Thanks mate, i'll fire it on like Luke has, you got a picture of Jon's?

Ah yeah i've never like that badge, also agree on it looking bare hence me not completely de-badging.

Want my old badge kev? You get a tailgate thrown in for free :o

My exhaust was just a Ktec thing. Fit PERFECTLY in the cutouts though:

Flol! Ask the scrappy how much he'll give you! ;) Anything else lying around. :o

Did actually look half decent, i'll sort that out quickly on mine.

Renault mate. We get like 30/40% discount. Think the Rrp is £19.

Look forward to seeing how ocd clean you keep this haha.

Quite tempted by that rear badge, my original plan was the other badge and ditch the clio hmmm.

We don't know what's on it, i'll get it on the ramp and check. It's not loud, infact it probably sounds similar to standard with a bit more deepness. Can't even hear it on the motorway so i'll probably keep it after adjusting.

Oh ordered some bulbs all round aswell, silvervisons, Philips etc. I do fancy xenons at some point. I'll phone my contact in a few months and tell him to keep me a set off the next 1*2 that comes in.

Looks nice. Will be good to see what you do with it :)

I want a trophy :(
And I wouldn't bother with xenons personally.

Ordered another few bits today. Dje Dave was kind enough to offer me a rear bench at a decent price. Yanoo first... if he ever gets back to me.

After having a look at the site i'm even more perplexed in what I need/want. Fücking mechaphobe!

Vibratechnics mounts improve the gear shift no end.

Even the most anti-ketchup person on here had to admit they're good.

Glad to see you've bought one Kev, look forward to see what you do with it :)

New engine/gearbox mounts should make a huge difference. I've ordered new oem ones for mine with the powerlex dogbone mount. I'll have to do a bit of a search into the yanoo.

For you Kev I'd avoid vibratech mounts, new oem mounts with a powerflex dogbone will be the right mix of stiffness and refinement.

That's what I've gone for. OEM mounts and powerflex dogbone. :)

It's just had a lower engine mount. Most of this is alien to me.

How many mounts are there ffs! ;)

I have no interest in making it harsher!

Upper engine, upper gearbox, and the stabilisation 'dog bone' mount.

The dogbone takes a lot of the flack so people stiffen up by updating that.

I did the complete opposite (because rs2)

not sure on price, think its around 40-50 quid. i just handed mine to Fred and let him crack on with it :)
