NS Headlight adjustment/motor/white plastic thingy

Ok i have been seriously blinding people for too long now, and had a look at why.

The white plastic thingy that connects to the end of the motors nipple has come out of the headlight.

What is the easiest way of reconnecting this without removing the bumper and headlight assembly? This is b****cks by the way! You can't see anything, and have no room to move. I'm fucked if im removing the bumber to take the headlight off... never heard such turd in my life.

I had the same problem mate. Just to make it worse i dropped the white plastic thing inside the light !
The hardest part was getting it out, long nose pincers and about half an hour sweetin like a marine directing traffic in Baghdad !!
If i remember correctly its a four fingered thing that just pushes onto of cross shaped bit of plastic on the back of the light unit. It has to go on the right way though (i think)
Look at the other side (o/s) to see which way round it goes (carefully!)
The groove on the other end (that the ball of the motor connection fixes to) runs vertically. I THINK the open end of the grove is at the btm.
I was gong to take the light out, undid that one bolt then relised that half the fnt end needed takin apart to get it off so just stuck at it till i got it sorted.
It is a proper f#$k on mate. Ya wont ta hope the bit a plastic it fits on to hasnt smashed off....
