I'll believe the c63 when i see it. My mates a pilot at captain level and finds the running costs silly.
I worked for MBUK for 10 years at their defleet centre and often saw costs at 13k plus for running and maintaining a C63 for a year.
I'd do some in depth research before taking the plunge.

Looks like mechatronic unit going off the symptoms, £1200 or so job at VW without a contribution because going off the forums, is a known fault.
So VW want £2370 to fix a mechatronics unit. Wow.
It is when I've already been quoted £670 all in else where.
ECU Testing + labour to swop it over i assume? VW dealers are jokers tbh.
Well after 5 weeks without it, some serious f*cking about and alot of money spent, I finally have the car back. Doesn't feel any different than before it went bang which is seriously annoying.
Currently deciding whether to run it over winter and then sell, or put it up for sale now.
