Should i sell the 172.......

Don't know what to do...

I've got a few options, keep it and finish it off. (182 manifold and remap) should see me close to 200) ishhh...

Sell it for approx 7k+ and Buy a vee.

Or...Sell it, invest the cash and buy a williams. At least that way i won't lose shed loads when the 197 is released..

Kinda....I work for shell, with a new oportunity of work offshore. i can finish my degree when ever i want.

40k a yr is awfully tempting and makes vee affordable even at 20.

I am in the same boat at the moment kinda, thinking of selling up and getting a williams for a few months/year then after sorting out a few debts etc looking at a 197 (cup hopefully).

I keep changing my mind between selliing and not. My reasons are different tho as i could do with the cash. If i didnt need the cash would probably keep it, hence why i keep deciding not to sell

Anyone gone from 172 to william and regretted it?

I wouldnt sell for a williams if you wanna keep cash spare. They will eat money at some point no matter how good condition they are imo.

I'm in EXACTLY the same position Ali. I'm seriously thinking of selling mine for a Vee MK2, I've recently bought my first house and am waying up the risks involved, the crunch time will come after Brands (August) when my insurance for the year is coming to a close and when the 197 is out. Its a VERY tough call.

the most sensible decision would be to sell and buy a well maintained williams that requires little work, as you will lose hardly anything on depreciation etc.

your car is absolutely mint, so personally i wouldnt be tempted to sell it - but any further money you spend is going to be a complete waste as your never going to recoup it on a sale. the vee would be a mint choice, but really depends how much you really want one.
