Thought I'd stick a post up on my track car as i've only ever stuck pics in the Ph1 172 appreciation thread.

Anyway, Some background/pics.
I had djw John's old flamer for a few years. Looked great, But shock horror, It suffered from the ph1 rust problem. Did start repairing it, realised i still hadn't finished the last one. Put it outside to melt a bit more and that was that.
If you follow the page you will see I specialise in used parts mainly for Renault sport clios. I bought in an accident damaged inferno 182 for breaking, Front crossmember etc but shell wasn't too bad. It was a sunny day...the colour looked nice in the sun and wala, the rest is history.
Few phone calls later the plan was on. Prefacelift the 182 to a ph1 and keep it inferno. But with a fairly standard/usable drivetrain.
