Pads are like tyres, everyone has a different opinion! Haha.
I agree that DS1.11s are mega though. The lower coefficient of friction is a good thing, it means you have to press a touch harder on the pedal - with the servo on a Clio I always found the brakes lacking in feel with RC5s or RC6s (fine with non-servo brakes though). The flat torque profile of the DS1.11 means they are really controllable (a lot of pads will increase or decrease in friction throughout the braking phase which is offputting), and they last ages - I genuinely cannot believe how long mine have lasted compared with RC5+, DS2500s, Mintex 1155s etc.
Dust - can't comment as I don't care about this at all.
Yes they are expensive, but well worth it!
