What price Williams

How much is Williams 1 worth with 88k miles, excellent body and interior, partial main dealer history but some mechanical problems ? (engine using more oil than it should with ocasional smoke and transmission rumble around RH bends only - could be a driveshaft - g/box changes smoothly and does not whine). Car has many new parts inc. front wheel bearings, steering, cambelt clutch and some suspension) It is standard and drives very well. I thought £1500 - £2000 as I think its just valve stem seals + a drive shaft. It is a good genuine car but I have run out of time....with three young kids etc ... and need a quick sale.

Any advice on a price welcome - with faults fixed would surely be a £3k motor ! May appear in Cars for sale forum shortly.

I am down south in Melksham, North Wilts (15 min off M4 J17). Will decide if for sale within in a week or two. Its also got MOT until March, good Eagle F1 tyres on tidy wheels, recent exhaust and cat plus head set ready to do valve seals. P.S. compression is 180psi plus on all cyls but it still uses oil.
