Winter prep

Car  Broken Diesel Megane :(
right....

this weekend (providing all my goodies get here) i was gonna start preping my car for winter.

just ordered this http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/pb505protect.html

now in which order do you use it, and where in my routine will it come in?

wash
clay
wash
dry
polish (possibly by machine, menzerna. or by hand srp and chem guys wet mirror finish)
then i take the jeffs comes in here? what order?
then finally a couple coats of wax.

theoretically, every week after should just need washed down and a going over with QD, then top wax up once a month.

cheers

I would polish with Menzerna's as needed depending on the paint condition.

Then apply the Prime or SRP so the Jett can bond.

Build up a good few layers of the AGT over a few weeks then top with wax IMO.

Ahh, im thinking of purrchasin one of these kits, question is which one?
Acrylic or carnuba?
Remember seeing someones clio done with the acrylic kit that seemed to get a really nice shine to the paint, i know its the polishing prep work that helps.

after lengthy discussions with rich at polished bliss i went for the acrylic. apparently it drys harder and gives a wetter sort of look. but yes, its all in the polish.

Sorry meant AJT - Acyrilic Jett Trigger.

As you will be adding wax after anyway the final look will be determined by the wax anyway.

Slight thread hijack, but is it worth getting alternate layers of Saphir - my regular wax and 476 to give that extra bit of protection in the lead up to winter?

476s all round...got mine topped with Ony right now and seems to be a great combo. Just washed it and looked mint even before I wiped over with some QD.

Works great on wheels and windows too - but if you use on windows make sure to work VERY thin and wipe off properly, otherwise it tends to haze a little in the sunshine.

tell beavis to f**k off, he's not the be all and end all ;)

p.s. my love for ali is back on, after seeing his comment about the couch/sipee!
