Completed Life is Strange, really enjoyed it actually, was gutted it's over!

Pre-ordered Forza on the PlayStation.

Few days until Horizon 5 on PS now wonder if when Horizon 6 comes out if it'll be instantly across all platforms. Also interested to see if they go with Motorsport over there soon too even with the competition from GT. Never a bad thing to get a few extra numbers. Would be nice if I could play GT on PC or Xbox also.

Horizon 5 feels pretty old now to us Xbox lot but it's a solid game that I would love to relive first time again.

I've got totally bored/frustrated with GT7 now so it's worth a try, plus my boy went halves with me lol (he's the one that wanted it really)

I see Indiana Jones is out on PS5 now too, though £70 feckin' pounds or something. Will pick that up for £20 on Black Friday no doubt!

Attempted it, but I struggled. Plus is runs like crap ATM so Ill maybe revisit it another time.

Oh, I see...

👀

I installed it on my PC yesterday and it certainly looks great. It runs pretty well on my pauper spec ROG STRIX 4090 OC, but nowhere near where it should be. Lots of stutters, erratic CPU and GPU loads, but playable. Whether or not I can be ar$ed to put hundreds of hours into it again though...

Anyone playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33? Really good game. Engaging story, great sound design and voice acting, looks beautiful and runs great. I don't even like turn based combat but even that's good in this game!

I was a bit put off at first as it looked over-sharpened and a bit janky in some cases (although still impressive). However, I see there are some mods already that can turn off the sharpening, and generally improve the fidelity (PC version). I'm not massively into turn-based RPGs but I'm tempted to jump in and give it a go.

When I saw the name I thought it was going to be a game where you have to try and clear the streets of rubbish.

Lol

It's definitely worth a look, I'm only a couple of hours in but the story seems very interesting so far. I'm usually quite put off by graphical issues like over sharpening, but I can overlook a lot if the gameplay and story are good. I've got over 100 hours in Stalker 2 as proof of that, and that game is a mess sometimes 🤣

I also started messing around modding Stalker myself and created an HK417 because I thought the game needed a proper battle rifle instead of just assault rifles. Swapped ammo, magazine capacity, changed the optic, and swapped out sound files and recoil pattern to make it a bit more realistic. Here's the normal HK416 in 5.56x45 vs my modded one in 7.62x51 😎

Thanks for the recommendation, I think I'm sold enough to give it a try. Good job on the mod!
