    I would swap my Z20LET for a Clio 17/182 anyday of the week, The astra is so boring! (although definately built better!) Talking in a straight line Standard vs standard nothing in it Remapped Astra = bye bye Clio!

    Is that just a guess or was that recorded temps from a gauge, sounds like a guess to me. The top quality silkolene will resist death until about 150c IIRC

    What sort of actual oil temperatures are we talking here? Modern synthetics are very good and can resist higher temps than you might think

    The astra I have atm has a rubber o-ring rather than a copper crush washer which unless its ripped or torn it doesnt need replacing I can kinda see why you should replace a crush washer but ive never needed too :)
