Think I've answered my own question, section 6 - "Size of illuminated area - No requirement."

Does anyone know what the rules are governing front indicators? Obviously I'd think you must have them (BMW's being the exception to the rule), but are there minimum size requirements? Or in therory could you get away with something like one LED?
Anyone got any opinions on the best 'off the shelf' coilover suspension currently available for a 182?
Bilstein PSS9 from Yozzasport?
The new AST set up?
KW variant 3 again from Yozzasport?
Your car looks pretty new - what are the marks? Can you post a decent size pic? I would have thought that if there's a mark in a new headlight, it's either supposed to be there or should be changed under warrenty?
Rota wheels do come in the right fitment (16" and 4x100), they also do ET45 offset which is correct for the 182, but not sure what you'll need for the 172. Though from my experience with Rota Slipstreams says that they need spigot rings to fit properly as the centre bore will be slightly too...
These things are great - much more reliable than a magnet. Helps if you can see what you want to pick up though or else it could be a long job!

I'm quite new at using photoshop and I was hoping that someone with a bit more knowledge could tell me how to replace the Italian flag with a French one on the image below? I've tried cuting and pasting the French flag over the original and can get as far as distorting the image to match the...
The Rotrex supercharger is a generic centrifugal supercharger that is very compact, comes in a variety of sizes and can be used for many applications. By the looks of it, it is what BenR is using.

For track work I'd say yes. Particularly on the tighter tracks. Most people wouldn't even consider a traditional LSD on a standard car due to the cost and additional maintenance involved (on most types).
A standard 172/182 can easily put all of it's power down effectively in a straight line...
Surely the development would be worth it though? The size of the market for cars with Bosch ESP systems must now be truely huge. The current Whiteline product is around £700 (expensive I agree), but when compared to a mechanical LSD there are several benefits - It could be transfered from one...
I had 16x7 versions of those on mine for a very short time (ET45) - I loved the looks, but wasn't too sure how the finish would cope with UK conditions! Also the rears didn't clear the calipers without spacers, but did clear at the front - odd.
Has anyone read about the new Mini John Cooper Works (Evo 116, p26)? They say that it has DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) - a system that when turned off, is programmed to work like a limited-slip differential. BMW first showed the technology on the 135i and apparently Mercedes has something...
When Renault brought out the 182 I believe they extended the track by using wheels with an offset of ET45. So is that as far as you can go? By using a wheel with an offset of ET44 (or 43 or 42 etc.) the track would be further increased.
I'm guessing that increasing the track too far would have...
I'm sure there are a few companies that cut up and weld back together steel wheels to make euro style wheels. I have no idea how safe they are, but the same process is used for grass track racers. I imagine that they could be made.
Don't know if it's been posted in the past - I was looking for something totally different and found this - thought it looked ok, at least it's something different anyway!
