Standrad 182 Exhaust wont bolt straight on as explained by the spare wheel well being there.
A custom exhaust centre would be your best bet
IMO it would chav it up
Even if it was running 200bhp it means F all on the open road if your car was lumping say 5 tons of ice about.
RR's are great for setting up your car and getting a rough idea of its power. How rough varys from palce to place obviously
Ive had mine on the back and they never rubbed and they dont rub on the front so you should be fine. Mines a ph1 172.
Cups have a et of 38 as standard so there's only 1mm difference, as a guide :)
This has all been done before. Driver for driver there is bugger all in it but due to the weight loss the Cup is always going to have a slight advantage
Mine are et37
Are the ones you looked at brand new? old stock kind of thing? or second hand?
Yeah i got my 2 cheap because i knew the lad who used to work at the breakers lol They were meant to be 40 notes each
I paid £20 each for my 2 front drag tyre'd up ones from a breakers, totally mint and with a 6 month warranty ;)
Where did you find these ones for sale ?
There is nothing wrong with the standard clutch. Iv done nearly 100k with just short of 200bhp for most of the cars life and only on its second one which is no where near worn.
Like stated, its overkill unless your gonna be abusing it by running big bhp on it
You think??
imo Magnex is one of the quieter systems by a fair way
Im running a Magnex centre section with a Prospeed stealth back box.
Got Charlie to make me it up so i didnt need to travel half the country. Had to wait for a Clio to go into his garage so he could copy the exact fit...
Battery dosent look like its holding charge thus like Lurk said, points to your alternator.
Bob down to any garage. Should only take 2mins to confirm if its working correct
My very first mod was a Magnex. Never made any difference to performance what so ever. No loss and certainly no gains
IMO unless your going to carry out breathing mods or mapping and are only buying it for the sound stick to just a back box
Lots of salvage yards around the country. Best bet is the yellow pages for your area or a google search.
Not sure who you could get to fit it. You'd need to get the engine and gearbox mounts totally re-fabricatd to fit then there's the subframe, exhaust electrics etc etc
Basic engine price...
Another added bonus with the VAG idea is there's always plenty of engines floating about and they are cheap.
Never seen one 225 in at my breakers and their one of the biggest in Scotland!
Mate of mine was telling me a story of how a guy wearing a watch with a metal strap welded himself to the wing of the car and recived massive burns all through touching positive and negative at the same time with a spanner. All batteries are evil  :D
Well they can put Cossie running gear into mini's so yes, anythings possible. Its all a question of cash at the end of the day
Take one 225 floor pan.
Resize to Clio length and width.
Cut your 182 off at the bottom.
Weld together.
Hey presto - bobs your uncle, f4nny's your aunt one...
