Spoke to the mechanic at the garage (renault specalists) and he thought the bearing was ok when they did it.
Will take a look to make sure it's routed right, looks like they'll have to have it back though....
Could it be a problem not being a genuine Renault cable? Was just over £15 on the...
Just had a new clutch cable fitted on the valver as it decided to snap the other week!
Is absolutely fine half the time, goes into gear fine and everything like normal.
But the more you drive it (after 10/15mins) the gear changes start to get a bit notchy and the biting point is right at the...
Alarm is over six years old now but within the last week isn't 'bleeping' when you lock/unlock it.
Not a huge issue, but is it an easy fix....?
Thanks
Tom
On the home page where it shows you loads of stuff including your top three emails, If I click on any of them it works....
But then if you click the up/down arrow the next email will be blank again.
At least I can get to read the top three i.e. any new emails but it's still not working as it...
The other half can't read her emails ever since her hotmail changed to windows live?
My email is still the old hotmail style and works fine....
Tried changing the encoding to western european from unicode like it says on it's help page but still all her emails appear blank?
Anyone else had...
Limewire seems to be really random lately, just pot luck whether or not it connects to the network....
Anyone else have this problem or is it just me?
Tom
Rags might do the trick actually, sure I can find a couple in the garage!
It is loud to be honest, it's one of the original K-Tec systems (they don't make them this loud anymore) but it got measured at a track once at only 91db though. Even the 'quiet' track limits are 98db.....
Car failed it's MOT today due to a wiper blade n exhaust being a bit loud!
Not too sure if he can actually fail me for a loud exhaust but he's a bit funny like that and said he'd have passed it if the wiper was ok.
Anyway, gonna sort the wiper out and just want to make the exhaust a bit...
Do you mean the F1?
Are they the GSD2's or a different tyre?
Have I got any more options? I don't really mind on price, I'd much rather pay for the quality.....
Tom
Proxies are T1s afaik. are the t1r's 'that much' better?
Those Yoko's look awful and are only W speed rated.
I need two new fronts and Goodyear can't supply anyone with GSD3's before xmas!
I'm not too bothered on cost....I just want similar performance to the GSD3's.
Any suggestions...
Get a kit off ebay well cheap.
My bro got one for his Sony 40" for less than £30, Sony's own kit was £150 or something daft.
Bit of work to fit it properly and securly, but trust me, it ain't never falling off!
Next summer before I move out of home.
Will need a more practical daily driver car than the valver, and quite fancy a new-ish car.
Thinking Leon 150 Cupra TDi at the mo....
Had a week of work so decided to give the valver a good going over, took me two days but pretty chuffed with the results.
Thanks for people like Rich on here for advise on some great products to use.....
Wasn't the brightest of days so the pics didn't come out as good as I hoped...
Had mine done last month by a local renault specialist.
Kit cost £89+Vat + Labour so probs about £250ish
I had a full major service done, and a quite a few other bits done so can't be too sure how much just the belt change would be.
Dont forget to do the tensioners as well.
