key word here = respect I had gained
key word here = in MY eyes
personal opinions..... were entitled to them, we are also allowed to voice these opinions. IMHO k-tec are slowly changing their market interest, 3 years ago it was unlikely that you would find any body mods on their website, and...
then have a look at he becker range of head units, they are very good quality units, often overlooked as they dont have the same amount of flashy lights as a sony unit, sound quality is 2nd to none for the money and they retain the OE appearance better than most after market units
hmmmm im sure i can think of better ways to spend £1k before fitting........
looks w**k, will no doubt be spotted down southend beachfront on an almost standard billabong with lexus lights
k-tec as a company are slowly losing all respect i had gained from their good customer services by...
the infinity reference range are a decent speaker
i wont way anything about 6x9s as its obviously what you want, so im not going to try and persuade you otherwise
craig - the reference (which you have) are a very good mid budget speaker, i had the 552i (co-ax) fitted to the RSi i owned (now...
think the slowest would have to be a
Be-Bop Diesel
dont have the stats to back it up, but they are dog slow no matter what you do to them (then again, n2o works quite well in that engine)
phone your nearest dealer, they will tell you the part number for the cables you require
i dont have the information to hand
alternatively, have a look on CAD and they have both cables required on there
well with regards to the 200bhp figures
how many current owners of the 172/182 can honestly say they have achieved 200bhp???
it seems that the engine is at its n/a limit without making the car a complete git to drive
id guess it will remain around 180/185bhp
certain companies just cannot make quality ICE, balupunkts top unit sounds ok, but as for the rest of their range, id rather stay stock
kenwood should always have stuck with food processors, their ICE is nothing short of shocking
have a listen to as many units through the same set of...
IIRC the cat is part of the manifold on the mk2 vtr/s
so im guessing it will only be the centre section that is fooked, may aswell change the rear silencer while youre at it, wont be far off dying itself
sean - the price si (loony) has given you is about the best you will get for them, which IMHO are the best available for the clio, without paying silly money
and that;s from experience, cheers for that run back in feb si, maybe do it again this time round :D statred saving for the beers already

fooking hell Si, thats all 3 parts of the bad luck over now, things can only get better from here
hope all is sorted quickly and easily and youre back on the road again soon

13.71 was my cars best 1/4 time.Thats with a fcuked clutch.Have a 6 paddle stage two RPS one on the way as we speak!Should be looking at mid 12s by the summer.
will be interesting to see how it compared to my mates MR2T, i think he run...
neither, but you will need to cu the door cards to fit them in the best position
ive found that mounting the tweeter within 2" of the mid driver and angled just behind the drivers head creates the best sound stage in a car
pah...... youre all amateurs (apart from roamer)
1.2 16v after 12k miles, not one reset, 30.3mpg :D
i would guess then that my worst would be somewhere near the 20mpg mark, in a 1.2 16v, thats quite some achievement
decat is the best mod for the 1.2 16v as the cat is very restrictive, also lose the eco-tec and 17s as these do nothing for the performance
£3k for the 2.0 16v conversion, speak to j3ned about the work, bargain price for all the parts and fitting IMHO
nope, i know it will be the quickest
though the same can be applied to mike ts 400(ish)bhp v6 it will be rapid, we seen what matt done with only 100 shot of nitrous in the v6 mk1
yup, matt and fred will have a pair of very rapid cars in the new year, i think matt is using a tt engine IIRC...
he gt rid of it :o hope it will still be involved in the 1/4 miling circuit, was always nice to see that thing fly
yup, seeing as his is no longer in the club, i would guess that puts yourself in 5th :o
provisionally 4th, as we dont have any official figures from frostys noble, nor any of...
frosty - noble m12
cb1a (matt) - 1.2 8v shell with 2.0 16v 172 engine + nitrous
adiclio16v - valver 2.0 16v + nitrous
TimO - 172 Cup
Nick Read - 1.8 16v Turbo
obvious once Mike runs his s/c v6 it should be the quickest, but sadly not many people have the balls to modify a car like the v6 to...
