is yours superchipped mate? i wanna get mine chipped to match the cams and other mods ive fitted. an extra few hundred rpm on the 7k limiter would be handy.
ok wats the max rpm an F7R bottom end can take? ive seen a few williams lumps sat at well past 7k revs with a chipped ecu. i know the megane block castings are different, but are the rods, crank pistons more upto the job of higher revs? cheers

oh right, thought they wer bigger than that. so does the f4 head breath better than say a megane head in standard trim, or is it the cammage that provides the extra power?

he mite as well do it himself, only take a day to do, and cost a max of 100quid with new belt and tnsioners, and gaskets, etc. dont go n give these companies ur hard earned cash, when a bit of elbow grease can have it done for not a lot of cash.

has any1 got a pic of the willy downpipe off the car, so i can see the shape, and the kink in the pipe, jsut before it joins the cat. need to see if it will fit the 19. thanks

the williams uses a different steering rack than the 16v. most likely longer track rods. u could jsut wind out the current track rods ends on the shaft out the extra mm for the proper track.
the 19 16v, williams, clio 16v hubs r the same, so itl require new wishbones, driveshafts, and...
i gota say, i think 160-165lb/ft is possible at high-ish rpm, but 190lb/ft on stock plenum injection seems alot to me for a 2litre.
i think il have to have some 172 magic dust sprinkled on my engine lol
jimbo
but civic type rs dont make 190lb/ft tho do they, 150 at best. but its made high in the rev range, therefore a nice bhp figure.
so in all honesty, roamer mite as well have jsut fitted flowed head n cams rather than tbs in order to get over 200bhp?

the vauxhall c20xe cosworth designed 2litre twin cam has been used in motorsport of all forms fr past 15 odd years. its been tuned to the max(you will probably know the score ben r) and is known to be one hell of an engine. standard form uses a 65mm throttle butterfly, and smaller 20mm primary...
im talking about the whole inlet system. the single throttle body system simply cannot flow the air to allow 190lb/ft. stick the engine on a proper engine dynamometer and il beleive ya. 190lb/ft is touring car engine torque output, and they need 8500rpm, mad cams and big throttle bodies to...
if thats making 190lb/ft of torque il eat my own ass! surely the standard fuel injection system cannot flow enuff air to produce 190lb/ft. youd need throttle bodies to get that kinda torque figure, even that wud be pushing it.
