    Weight is the key with these cars. My de catted stripped 172 can easily live with a Porsche boxster 2.7 to the ton. They are 15.5 iirc

    Cant find my hand book mate. What I do remember thought is my old 997 (a big time rear heavy car) had 40+ psi in the rears and 29 psi fronts. So weight is a factor. I just thought I'd ask around on here.

    I've took the caliper off and manually pushed in the piston. Re fit caliper. Wheel back on and it spins ok. Drive round block. Jack it up wheel stiff to turn again. Caliper fcuked!

    pads are deff seated right. All greased ok too.

    My nearside front caliper is sticking. If I jack up the front end I can hardly turn the wheel but the off side spins freely. Any suggestions? Thanks Danny

    As he said Had a terrible burning smell could not find where it was coming from. Alternator failed burning smell went straight away.
