172 cup exhaust problem

right bought me car 2weeks ago didnt relise the exhaust was going had a bit of rust but sounded ok so yestaday starts poping sounded mean lol but took it to n/tyres nd they said the whole exhaust system had cracked so phoned aas in lemington newcastle nd i asked for a 182 exhaust he said its not possible lack of space??? is this true??? had a month waiting list for an exhaust so had to pay 300quid off ats today choys of owning a clio lol:rasp:

im a cup owner as well and did ask few peeps on here about fitting 182 exhaust to mine and they did say its true it wont fit due to spare wheel hull . im sure k-tec do 1 for the 172 but loads of dollars

Why put a 182 exhaust on a 172? It will spoil it imho! just bang a Yozza exhaust on it.

yeah i asked in AAS about a 182 look exhaust for my 1.2, he said he won't do them as there isnt much space and he would rather not produce an exhaust which rattles and isnt up to thier usual standards.
