Is this really the going rate for a LY Clio 197 R27 F1 ?
I get that they are relatively low miles but FML.

https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/14013237 - From K-Tec @ £11,995

https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/13681846 - Madeley Heath Motors @ £12,982

Even this PH1 with 91k on the clock @ £6,999

That phase 1 was up for sale for reasonable money prior, they bought it and have had it up around that price for ages!

That phase 1 I went to look at last year around may time. Guy was called Paul and a nice chap with loads of different cars. It’s a nice car but had a problem with the alarm/immobiliser and need the belts doing so I think I offered £4.5k when the guy wanted £5.5k. I thought it was a fair price but he ended up selling it for £5.5k many months later. And then this dealer bought it after and by all accounts have done nothing to it yet want £7k for it which I personally think is very expensive and not worth it.

LY tax is strong on the F1's. Personally I don't think the mk3 ly's deserve the same premium the mk2's do because there's so many more of them out there. This nimbus one has been for sale all year nearly and as 1 of 55 compared to 142 LY ones it's gotta be a better investment?

I don’t see that as an “investment” at that price….!

IMO he’s asking what it might be worth in about 15 years time.

There might be less, but it’s still a w**k colour in comparison.
The sellers off his head imo

To be fair - the vast majority of people will look at that as 'just' a silver Clio.

The LY ones have much more road presence - despite on paper being more numerically common.
