Maybe it was the, in your own words ' stupidly low' undeclared ta techix coilovers that ruined the handling and set you off into the focus. Love to see how you wouldn't put it through the insurance if it hadn't have been your mate!

I can't see why everyone is moaning about their policies going up, he has already said he isn't going through the insurance.

Even if he can't claim his insurane, the third party element will pay out to fix the RS, which will cost more than to buy another Clio.
 
To be fair, i imagine the venturi effect of the RS's diffuser sucked you into the crash.

I'd consider claiming against your mate; throw a swerve ball at him.

I would say it is time to learn from this and declare those mod's. You where lucky this time that it was a mate, you may not be so lucky next time.

Hahahaha nearly pissed myself!

I saw this thread earlier on when it was first started, it had 0 replies...I had a bet with myself to see how many posts it would get within 30 mins, I was wayyyyy out :P
 
i reckon his tyres were bold, i have never locked up in my 1.2 with my new tyres but my old tyres would lock up as they had no legal tread left

why would you post on a forum like this if you had that type of crash, he should know what it is like
