Hardly the end of the world then, you are young, you'll learn, I rear ended a few cars (and women) in my first few years. Just think yourself lucky it was your mate and not some **** who would have dragged it through the insurance with whiplash claims and all.

Lol I was gonna say something like that but I thought I'd shave it for later... I love how much this threads gone from the original post ha, but yep, you're a very very lucky fcuker indeed, although I can only recall one instance of locking the wheels, slamming on from 50 and praying to god I didn't rear end the guy who pulled out on me (because that's not how I roll) lesson learned from there.
Out of curiosity, how much are the parts gonna cost for the rs?

And just did an experiment, was doing 20 down my road, slammed the brakes on, and they locked, and I slid (Bone dry roads). so for people that said it was BS at 30 in the wet, its not

But in was wet in Altrincham this morning. I biked to work in Alty at about 7am and there was plenty of standing water and the roads were very greasy........
