I need some new coolant now lol, im also picking up a polished strut brace on the 28th which should smarten the bay up a little more

Another small update... i painted my gearknob insert as the old one was looking tatty and worn...

Its really fun all the small things you can do to an older car to revive it, every little touch makes a difference

I just undid the two nuts, unclipped the top hose 1st and pulled it off and squeezed it securely between the ecu cover and induction hose.

I then pulled the tank off the two bolts and faced it so both hoses were facing up and nothing could leak out, i then unclipped the boottom hose and held it upright so nothing spilt out, and because you face the coolant tank so the holes were facing upwards nothing spills out of that either, then you can lay it on the floor or somewhere in that position.

While still holding the bottom hose, grab your new coolant tank an squeeze the hose on, then you can bob the tank back on the bolts, bolt it on then bang your top hose back on making sure thay are both securely on. I didnt hardly spill a drop tbh :)

I then filled the coolant tank back up.

Im going to get some new coolant next weekend to pop in it too, looks so much better lol.

looks spot on
I like the way you have done the induction
So i just need to order the alloy pipe and filter on the links you put up
Then i simply get rid of the accoustic valve, All the o/e air box etc

Yes thats basically it, the 90 degree 70ml alloy bend and the pipercross filter, it sounds awsome mate, really deep and growly especially after 5k.

Dan@M.A.D sells them off here mate but they are anodised and i wanted it polished, i did get my polished strut top covers off Dan tho, great service :)

If you get the one off ebey, you will have to drill your own hole for the bolt, unluss you find a different way to fit it, its only a 5 minute job tho.

Does sound spot on my friend..
Do you find the standard steering wheel is way to big
I am going to source a smaller momo type as ruins the car

Yes the steering wheel is big and thin, like a bus lol.

The video i made is off my camera phone and is very bad quality although you get the idea.

Its sounds mint along with the decat miltek :)

What a cracking car!! I want mine like this. Love the new style RS badge - cleans the back up no end. Is it on standard suspension?

yes the newer badge deffinately improves the back end, the old one looks like the one halfords sell and its massive!

Its actually lowered on 40ml apex mate but it doesnt look massively low, i think i might have a dodgy set, unless they have changed them slightly because the ride isnt as bad as some people make out.

Looks very clean :) beware of the police with the number plate as I got slaughtered in Wakefield last night with mine!
