My 172 CUP By Noos - RIKUS - Kit me up!!

  Cup In bits
i mean ET 40 for the wheels other wise the caliper touch it and for the wheels look a this

we don't see very well but 283mm disk in a 15" wheel

http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/1020/dsc0144copier.jpg

Ah okay it's very wheel specific then as I have et40 16" team dynamic 1.2's and the calipers touch the spokes so I fitted 10mm spacers, for others who asked you CANNOT fit 197/225 brembos under 15" OZ f1's or speedline 2118's unless you fit 30mm and 25mm spacers respectively and that's with original 280mm disks.

Noos this looks fantastic, are you still selling the brembo brackets for 1*2? Steel steering rack bushings?

I can't find your trader section anymore?

By the way can you get 197/225 brembos under 15 inch wheels?

yes i have spent many month searching for wheels that would fit witout spacer in 15 inch.

My Oz f1 ET 43 are fitting with a 10mm spacer i have set of turini's trophy that fit under the same conditions.

I could designe 1 kit that push the caliper and disk further inside the weel to gain clearances... like going ET48 for the disk with a 28mm rotor... maybe it will be my next move :) to increas further the cooling :)

Small view on the mystery of a F4R 738 head…. For those who knows…. The 182 head has smaller exhausts port than the 172…… in regard with the continuous development that Renault apply … my cup from 10/2003 is equipped with the newly developed head….. even though it is badger F4R736…..

Here are the specs of the "rikus" Gear box specs.

- Epoxy paint
- 100% new bearings, synchronizer, and others worn out pieces
- Limited slip differential "Quaife" specs 2012.
- Short gesr ratio and OEM final ratio (15/61)
- Top speed using 195-45-16 129 miles/hours a 7000 rpm.
- Value of the box 3000 quid.... cheap stuff considering the work and specs.... the box could have been reinforce with a metal insert for the bearing on the far end side to handle turbo conversion for instance..... or also oil cooler could have been fitted also... but for my use this was not necessary...

Find bellow graphs of the gears ratio....

Where did you get this from ?

- Short gesr ratio and OEM final ratio (15/61)

It originally come from a Laguna 1 rare model with a 2.0l 140hp volvo engine. with jc5 transmission. I 've use the primary axle that need to be modified to work with bearing and housing of the Clio JC5(volvo type JC5 will not mount on the F4R)
On the secondary side i have use the original axle. with sprocket gear 1/3/4/5 from the Laguna....

So....

For the little story... i do not remember anything.... i had a concoction, memories loss and 2 stitches on my left hand...

according to witnesses, I was driving normally at the legal speed 70 miles/houres, when on strait high way line the car snapped hit the separation wall, took offf and rolled several time on that separation wall and end up on the other side....

Photos are not too clear but door pillar was on dashboard , floor was on dash board to the point where pedal can't be seen no more...

After careful disassembly we found a broken drive shaft..... and that is it everything else is in place.... a Fxxxing broken drive shaft!!!!

Lucky to get away with a couple of stitches, glad you're ok

Even though it looks a mess the actual cabin seems to have kept it's shape relatively well, especially the driver side- good job you came and got a UK RHD

I said something similar to Dan recently whilst discussing Vik's most recent incident. Show's the little French tin is actually pretty well protected even without a cage.

Indeed Mick, same scenario with an older hatch like a 205 GTi for example may have been a different outcome for the lad
