after being a member for over a year i am finally doing a project thread !
i own a arctic 182 05 plate which i purchased in september last year, its a full fat model and had 61k when i bought it. The car was completly standard and in great condition inside and out. Only payed 2.8k for it. After a month i had the common symptoms of a rotten exhaust. Did some thorough research and ended up with a k-tec janspeed sports version with de-cat.
here is how it looked then after some megs liquid wax
a few months down the line was getting tired of the high ride height and skippy back end! changed the rear dampers and added some eibach sportline springs
some more megs wax too
and some more recent pics
settled in nicely now
headlight resored recently too
and k-tec induction kit fitted last month (dat sound :O)
future plans
2011 + rs badge
carbon side billets, badges and exhaust trim
turini's in antharcite and 15mm wheel spacers as current stance is gay
k-tec remap and possibly matched inlets
solid top mounts, uprated bushes all round and engine mounts e.t.c
comments or ideas welcome
