How did you take the boot lock suround off? I was simply going to mask around mine and spray it on the car but now I know theres a proper way :rasp:

Good progress so far :) also notice you have the S mudflaps on there too, hopefully able to get my hands on a set this Friday now I know they can go on too lol

  mk2 ph1 1.4 S
You take the plastic in the boot off then theres torx bits that need undone for the lock take them out and pop it off.... Simples....

I'd suggest getting a spare one though as I wouldn't leave it without one lkl

Had a brain wave on the way home to make use of a k&n filter I've had lying about for ages...

Took out the filter from the box and used the jubilee to fix the tubing.

Not the best but still gives a bit of induction noise

You not better off removing the box anyway, would probably be ideal to have some silicone hoses for that as well like from srs or samco

There's a noticeable drop in power so going to go back to standard when I have free time....

Got a few updates I need day light to photo graph ;)

Re: That induction kit...

W. T. F.

If you can get the open filter straight onto where the other end of that pipe is connected, then fine, if not, get rid.

You've got about 10 turns too many in that pipe, so no bloody wonder it's causing a bloody power loss!!!!
