In that vid, when going for it, its loud!! It was 106db before the bodies.

Im buying another car to run about in, and strip it properly.

Thatll be the next update :)

How are you fitting a sausage filter while keeping the air-con?

The design of the sausage filter, will "just" fit, might need a little bit of shoe horning :) Ill wait for mark to confirm more as he has done the sums etc :)

no way will you get anything on there that wont strangle the performance. those socks are on too far by the way, fit them so they're only just on the trumpet

New rocker cover breather from angel works (Cheers steve), Rocker cover painted, new leads, K-Tec engine mount, new heat shield, and new catch tank (Thanks to Dazdon)

cba reading the whole thread to find out lol but... whats the engine spec and what power and lbs ft. and peaks at etc...??...

that looks well nice mate. you didn`t paint under the bolts on the rocker cover did you? i read on angel works website that if you do , it can cause the bolts to vibrate loose or something. looks very nice though mate, good job.

somehow i dont think its meaningless rubbish when im asking about the car and not spamming, didnt have much time to read it yesturday thats all!!

just read it all now tho :D

love everything that youve done so far ben!! especially that exhaust... and the bodies arnt they a little small as all other ITB'd 172s use 48mm iirc!?...

but now... strip the damm thing lol

keep up the good work!!

its running 204bhp and 159 lb ft of torque mate :)

Bodies i think are 38mm, but they flow very well, also there is no inlet manifold like the jenveys, so its pretty much a direct to head if you get me.

Update.

Sausage filter was fitted yesterday morning :) Love it, seems to pull a little better aswell, perfect fit if i do say so myself.
