Only problem ive had is they've bumped my premium up beyond belief because of one accident that wasnt even my fault (still fighting for liability) and may have to sell the car if cant get it cheaper...
Even if you get it sorted and it ends up in your favour as a "no fault" accident, Admiral group could well
still penalize you. I was on the receiving end of a small shunt whilst queuing a couple of years back and altho' I was totally blameless and everything was settled quickly Admiral/Elephant stick £150 on the cost of a policy as soon as I tick the "accident in last 3 years box". Admittedly it's on a group 20 car so maybe they're more cautious but even so the idea of being penalized for doing nothing wrong makes my blood boil

. When I spoke to them about the stupidity of their policy they said that their statistics show that if you've had a "no fault" accident in the last 3 years you're more likely to have a "fault" accident. So basically "computer says no" and I told them that their inflexibility lost them my business.
It's a shame tho' since they are the most competitive insurers out there. Despite my frequent ranting about their policies ... you can be certain that I'll be using them again in the future since I'm not one to pay more for my insurance simple because I bear a grudge!
