Should I change my Cup for a Trophy?

Revisited an old question today as I have been offered a Trophy in part ex for my 172 Cup.
Deal is good, given the Cup is negative equity....
Cup is nearly 3 yrs old with 36200 miles.

But should I go for it? Heart says yes. I love the Recaros plus it has just a couple more creature comforts over the Cup, abs and traction and aircon for a start!
Also feels slightly less twitchy over rough roads which is my main gripe with the Cup.

So, convince me one way or another -what would YOU do?!

In cold hard cash terms the Cup is worth say ~7k the Trophy would cost you say ~12k thats 5k for aircon, recaros and abs!

Fair enough the Trophy is almost 3 years newer but the Cup is still basically a 'new car'

Performance is the same (no arguements please)

Spend £350 on some recaros/buckets for the Cup if you need something new to keep you interest and keep your cash in your pocket

Keep the Cup. They will be rarer than Trophy's by spring after they got hrough their annual cull...

the colour of the trophy is pretty good but i have only noticed one because ive looked at clio`s for about 2.5-3yrs now and obviously been on this site alot, to my eye the cup is rarer and getting rarer and the colour is nicer.
just fit a carbon splitter and get buckets/recliners.. the weight saving alone will be one good benefit.

trophy is newer but unless you must keep the current design clio and dont mind losing out on money then dont bother as you mite aswell wait for the new cup/clio200

in my case if i ever did get another clio after the cup it would be a 182cup as they are around for 8k now and will be cheaper than ever soon with the new clio out.
