It Takes Two has honestly been the most fun I've had this generation, so so good. Can't wait to move on to Split Fiction afterwards.

Started playing Snowrunner last night as it’s free on Gamepass (series x).
It’s superb but my grasping of the controls so far would be the good old Scottish saying “Coo wi a gun” 🤣

Recently started playing a game called "The Alters" I find it strangely addictive. It's a sci-fi/survival/exploration kinda game. It's free on game pass ATM. I would recommend giving it a go.

Hollow Knight Silksong - a beautiful game to behold.

A b**tard c**ting sadistic f**ker of a w*nk b*tch to play through. It is so cruel at times. Somehow, my monitor and controller are still intact and my mental state is stable. But I'm not sure for how much longer. :ROFLMAO: I have put about 20 hours into it so far and unlocked about 8% and that has been a slog.

TLDR; Some sections and boss fights are quite tricky.

Have you considered doing game reviews?

Tried Skate in the past but always been more of a Tony Hawks fan myself but the new skate been popping up everywhere on my algorithm so decided to give it a go. It's quite a lot of fun some of the stunts are ridiculous.

I hope Turn10 don’t mess this one up, like they did with the last Forza.

It's playground games for this. Microsoft pretty much laid off half of T10 which pretty much confirms the death of FM. Not sure they will ever do another one.

I think Japan was inevitable. Some Japanese car packs and Fujimi Kaido being back at least pointed in the right direction and people have been asking for years. Feels like it's been forever since Horizon 5 came out.

I started out playing stealthily, but then got bored. :ROFLMAO:

It's a good looking game.

  A terrible one
Anyone tried one of these? Something to pass the time on the quiet days in work is my thinking

Got similar, a R36s. For the price it’s been pretty decent. Can run up to N64 ok and is preloaded with a lot of games. Got mine from AliExpress. It’s by no means a brilliant device for retro gaming as the form doesn’t suit joystick games but older ones, it’s more than decent. The screen is surprisingly good on mine.

Chaps, Controllers.

For most of my 'yoof', I was a controller gamer. Ventured into PC, then stopped for ages.

Ive recently properly set my gaming PC up in the 'office'. I dont mind a keyboard and mouse, if anything I prefer it, but some games are just more fun with a controller.

I keep seeing these 'any device' controllers, with mapping, on Tiktok (I know, I know). They're cheap as chips, at about £50, and seem to work with everything!

Anyone tried one? Shite, or half decent? I wont be playing all that often but with the winter coming in, ive got many many household jobs to ignore.

If you can put up with a wire then a Gamesir G7-SE is worth looking at. They have hall effect sticks instead of the regular potentiometers which eliminate drift.

Otherwise go for original Xbox or PS controllers.

Can’t you just get an XBOX/PS5 one, whichever you prefer and use it with the PC?
If I had either of those, sure :ROFLMAO: . Im still on a PS4, and my controllers are absolutely roasted after years and years of MW2 :ROFLMAO:

Same kind of thing I see online then, they also have the 'anti-stickdrift tech' in them. Just wireless, which I see Gamesir also do!

Ah I meant instead of buying one of those unbranded/ unknown ones just get a new PS/Xbox controller if you had a preference when you console gamed.
I think the PS5 Pro style controller you can map buttons, easily change out sticks but from memory it's close to £200!

This would be a good option.

Ah, yeah, sorry my initial response reads back a bit sarcastic - not intentional!

Yep, im with you. The ones I see on Tiktok etc are only about £50 - so they're probably s**t :ROFLMAO: .

FWIW I may just stick with a keyboard and mouse for the moment. But it would be nice to have a controller at some stage. Probably could pick up a used PS5 controller for not much on marketplace
