Yep, that’s the plan. It’ll be switched to a Sach Organic Clutch + new flywheel.
I’ve not decided which company/remap to go for yet. Any suggestions are welcome
I’ve only had two quotes so far, first was JBS in Derby for £2100 (that was a full uprated clutch kit & software) the second was from MRC in Manchester, for the same work £1800. I’ll probably go to them in all honesty.
Ecotune are a mile from my house but they are robbing b******s.
MRC would be my choice for Audi
They seem to get a great rep from what i’ve seen

Started my 2017 Audi A4 B9 yesterday and had a warning for low coolant - checked under the bonnet and the reservoir was empty! I've filled the tank to max again and doesn't seem to have gone down overnight so I suspect a slow leak / pipe that's cracked. I had the garage take a look quickly after it's MOT yesterday and they can see a damp patch on the under tray - they'll take a better look tomorrow to try and locate the leak ... hopefully something simple!
Belt & Water pump was due to be changed this year anyway so I've booked it in to be replaced in a few weeks.
Something similar happened to my 2007 A3 1.8t last year, the water pump housing had fractured requiring a new pump to be fitted. Wasn’t cheap though 🤐
Audi have quoted £880 for belt & water pump compared to Halfords at £1100!
If it's the water pump I'll get them to leave it and will try not to drive the car for the next week or so whilst I wait for the Audi appointment. If it's a hose I'll get the local place to fix it for now so I can at least use the car.
It's been an expensive couple of months having to replace pads / discs all round and having 2 new tyres on the rear a few weeks back!
Common VAG water pump/Thermo housing leak. Happened to my Cupra and was fixed by SEAT under warranty.Started my 2017 Audi A4 B9 yesterday and had a warning for low coolant - checked under the bonnet and the reservoir was empty! Where are you located?Yep, that's what I've read too - unfortunately it's out of warranty!
I took it to a local garage this morning - the coolant system is holding pressure so it's a little strange. I've just dumped the car at the dealer for them to squeeze in the belt & pump change this week as I really need the car this weekend - they'll take a look at the system with the bumper off which will give us a better idea of what's going on.

I'd take it to a specialist if it's out of warranty.
Mrs has an 8P A3 (12 plate) 2.0l diesel PD130 I think, engine management light came on whilst going over a speed bump. I plugged a OBD reader in but only got throttle position sensor, cleared it but it came back on a week later doing the same thing. What do we reckon guys, lamba sensor? Can drives no different.
In the quiet words of the virgin Mary, come again?EGR bunged up the throttle?
I was thinking if it was EGR, I'd be able to clear it and then it would come back on pretty much straight way, no? I'm not dismissing it like.No amount of head kicking will substitute for cleaning an EGR properly
If it's the CFCA engine they s**t EGR coolers more than BMW's do 😂An views on the BiTD 240 in a B8 Passat? My father's Alltrack is about to hit 150k miles (yes, barely run in) and he fancies a change. There's a nice one up for sale from a main dealer, so added bonus of 2/2/2 warranty etc.

Tbh an EGR delete kit and a map is the easiest bit of life you can breathe into most modern dieselsYes believe it is and spotted that video about vans and Amaroks, but wondered if that's like saying all K series engines will s**t their head gaskets when in fact it's because the engines were used in heavy old beasts like Freelanders...

Just had the diagnostics through from Audi - it's the water pump that's failed which is a relief as it was due to be replaced anyway!
That’s gonna be an awesome car for someone!
Well if you’re looking for a dsg…..my S4 will be up for sale soon 😎Part of me says keep it. But when I drive my wife's dsg rep mobile I think this is the life. Pan pipe moods on the stereo and relax lolz
