Setting my coilovers once again tomo on a Hunter system thingy. Current settings,

Lf -0.03 toe in. Total toe -0.08 Rf -0.05 toe in.

Might be a daft question but if i wanted 10mins of toe out would it read as a plus or a minus? Im sure all will become apparant tomo, just being nosey.

does everyone agree with this ^^ + = out?

I have always known it to be be the oposite, negative = toe out.

you sure? - = + and + = - off the top of my head

edit

yep

positive toe = toe in
negative toe = toe out

I would read "0.03 toe in" as meaning it was toed in by 0.03 and I would read "-0.03 toe in" as meaning that it has negative toe in (ie therefore toe out), but it really does depend on who wrote the software I guess!

got me confused now, (not hard btw). On the sheet it says -0.03 toe in. So i was assuming toe out would start with a plus?

depends on the system, the pro align stuff (hunter) is the right way (but wrong way) round, as are a lot of machines

+0.05 = toe in
-0.05 = toe out

TBH that is so close to straight ahead anyway (assuming the values are in degrees?) that it probably doesnt matter wether its in or out, its essentially parellel, which should drive fine anyway.

Cheers. So stick with that set up then or? Oh and the wishbone from Euro was wrong. Dealer only, but at 51 plus vat its not too bad. Getting it fitted later.

I'd stick with that quite happily for a road car, changing the wishbone is likely to alter it slightly though.

Did you get your steering wheel located centrally on the rack in the end by the way?

PS
Tony or Fred would be best people to ask for suitable trackday settings as a starting point to develop from I would think as they'll have more experience of these specific cars on track than any of the rest of us.

Had the wishbone done but havent had chance to go and pick the car up, so the tracking will be done at the latest on monday. Will do it all then, if it doesnt rectify the problem im in two minds to sell

Trackings been done, but the guy whos done it had to shoot off. Will see how i get on over the weekend and go from there.

I don't want to tempt fait but the drive home was miles better. Thanks for everyones help and advice, you know who you are. Cheers.
