Wheel Refurb

Bonjour.

The turinis on the Trophy are in need of a refurb thanks to the raving chuff nut that owned it before me having the special awareness of a single cell organism (*read women*).

So.... i'm having a bit of a carbon fibre addiction at the moment - I'll have splitter, fog surrounds door bullets and rear bumper trim by the end of the month. I keep thinking the wheels would look good a little bit darker now I have CF all over the shop. Should I get them a bit darker or just leave them alone?

I'd go for a graphite grey, black makes the tyres look dirty all the time.

If you are getting them powdercoated, then Rim-tec in Meopham (nr. Gravesend) have just done my Ph1 F1s, and a damn fine job too

black would be too much imo - not a big fan of gloss finishes either - feckers to keep clean.

How much was it if you don't mind my asking?

It was £35 a corner to be stripped / coated, then £5 a wheel to fit and balance new tyres I had .. + the VAT

For 4 I paid £184, which didn't seem bad at all.....?!

No clean pics i'm afraid. They went on during last weeks snow, and the car is currently mostly matt-brown !

Ive had mine done by rim tec in meopham !! brill job !! A lot of my mate's have used thjem to because they are cheap and do a very good job !! dan is top bloke !!
